Scott and Alice Betts began to tango in 1998 with a visit to a beginners class presented by Santa Fe teacher, Andrew Moe, while visiting in Teluride. Learning for the first two years was difficult with only a few lessons when teachers were somewhere in the area or vacations were spent in tango destinations. Then they attended the Tango Retreat 2000 in Santa Fe and their tango lives began in earnest. With frequent trips to Denver for extensive private study with Chas Gale, they soon began to catch privates and classes with many of the other Denver teachers as well as visiting Argentine Masters. Scott and Alice continue to study and learn at every opportunity.
